The Carpenters/Contractors Cooperation Committee (a labor management group) conducted a survey of residential construction workers in Los Angeles with over 500 respondents. Here are the findings:

of workers on residential projects were paid under $30 an hour while 66% of workers on commercial, industrial, and/or infrastructure projects were paid over $30.
